Today, Lotte Global Logistics and NuriFlex Vietnam officially signed a partnership agreement to develop a rooftop solar power project at Lotte’s cold storage facility in Dong Nai. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the two companies’ shared journey toward green transformation and sustainable development.
As climate change and global energy challenges intensify, businesses face the dual imperative of driving growth while safeguarding the environment. This rooftop solar initiative represents one of Lotte Global Logistics’ pioneering efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, optimize operational costs, and actively contribute to Vietnam’s clean energy transition.
Given the logistics sector’s high electricity demands for cold storage, transportation, and distribution, investing in renewable energy systems not only generates long-term economic benefits but also underscores a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Leveraging its expertise and proven track record in renewable energy projects and advanced energy management systems, NuriFlex Vietnam will serve as EPC contractor (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction). The company will oversee the entire process – from design and equipment supply to installation, while also providing supervision, operations, and maintenance (O&M) throughout the system’s lifecycle.

The rooftop solar system at the Dong Nai cold storage facility will bring tangible benefits, including reduced electricity costs, greater energy independence, and an enhanced corporate image in line with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. It will also help cut CO₂ emissions, accelerate the transition to clean energy, and align with Vietnam’s national goals for sustainable development and carbon neutrality by 2050, while meeting the increasingly stringent sustainability requirements of global markets. The signing ceremony between Lotte Global Logistics and NuriFlex Vietnam not only signifies the launch of a new renewable energy project but also reaffirms both companies’ long-term vision and strong commitment to building a green logistics future, contributing to Vietnam’s and the region’s sustainable development ambitions.
