Ho Chi Minh City, October 29, 2025 <\/strong>\u2013 As part of the \u201cVietnam Mission Trip 2025 \u2013 VietNavigate\u201d program, a delegation of enterprises from Hong Kong had a meeting and exchange session with Nuriflex Vietnam, a member company of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (KOCHAM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place at KOCHAM\u2019s Ho Chi Minh City office, offering the international guests a practical perspective on Vietnam\u2019s investment environment, technological development trends and potential cooperation opportunities in green energy and smart manufacturing sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was one of the key activities within the VietNavigate 2025 journey, a program jointly organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Standard Chartered Bank and the InnoPreneur Network (IPN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking place from October 29 to 31, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, the journey brought together numerous entrepreneurs, investors and technology experts from Hong Kong, aiming to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in Vietnam, one of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, Mr. Kim Jin Young, General Director of Nuriflex Vietnam and Vice Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (KOCHAM), delivered an in-depth presentation on the topic \u201cVietnam Energy Overview.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his talk, Mr. Kim shared insights into the rapid growth of Vietnam\u2019s energy sector over the past decade, highlighting the country\u2019s strong shift toward renewable energy sources such as solar power, wind power and biomass energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mr. Kim, during the period 2010\u20132023, Vietnam\u2019s electricity demand grew by an average of 8\u201310% per year, reflecting the country\u2019s strong economic expansion. To meet this growing demand, the Vietnamese Government has introduced numerous policies encouraging investment in green energy, prioritizing projects that emphasize sustainability, advanced technology and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kim also emphasized that Vietnam is emerging as one of the most attractive investment destinations in the region for international investors, thanks to its stable political environment, young workforce, competitive costs and strategic orientation toward a green economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVietnam is standing at a pivotal moment in its energy transition. This is a golden opportunity for businesses and international investors to take part in Vietnam\u2019s renewable energy ecosystem and smart energy management technologies,\u201d shared Mr. Kim Jin Young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kim also introduced Nuriflex Vietnam\u2019s key activities as a pioneering enterprise in the fields of smart electricity meter manufacturing, rooftop renewable energy development, energy management technology, smart grid systems and industrial digitalization solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Nuriflex Vietnam serves as a trusted green energy solutions partner for clients such as Hyosung, Taekwang, CJ Gemadept, Cobi Group and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the Hong Kong business delegation to gain deeper insights into Vietnam\u2019s investment environment, including its FDI attraction policies, national energy planning and strategic orientations for green economic development and digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delegates raised numerous questions related to investment licensing procedures, the legal framework for renewable energy, the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism, as well as potential cooperation opportunities in energy storage (BESS), electronic equipment manufacturing and technical services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVietnam is making strong efforts to become the renewable energy hub of Southeast Asia. With its abundant resources and proactive investment policies, Vietnam will continue to be a destination for international capital, bringing sustainable economic and social benefits to both investors and local communities,\u201d remarked Mr. Kim Jin Young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, the members of the Hong Kong business delegation expressed their impressions of the rapid growth of Vietnam\u2019s energy sector and the vast potential for cooperation across various industries. Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication channels and explore concrete collaboration programs in the future, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, digital transformation and green technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
